Content authors may get annoyed by the important number of default notifications Confluence will send. This procedure shows how to unsubscribe from these automatic notifications.

Click on your your profile menu (the colored circle in the upper right corner of the screen) and click on the Settings option.

Select the Notifications tab and uncheck whatever notifications you no longer want to receive.

You may also receive email notifications if you are configured as a watched on complete wiki spaces or individual pages. To remove yourself from watched pages and spaces, click on the eye icon and uncheck the corresponding box.
