Abstract

Have you ever wondered what an identity and access management (IAM) is? What are the main components of an IAM solution, and how they are interrelated? What about the other fuzzy words such as digital identity, credentials, validation, entitlements, provisioning, etc. what do these terms really mean?

In this session we will present what an IAM reference architecture is really mean; illustrate IAM component structure and relationships to authoritative data systems, targets systems and applications; and clearly define the IAM terms and concepts.
