Based on the model we identify seven properties of trust are derived. The findings lend a series of properties of trust. These properties shed support to some well-accepted views on trust yet shed new light on other interesting properties of trust. In light on ways in which trust affects cooperation beparticular, it is shown that trust supports cooperation tween parties. through its impact on two main threats to cooperation, namely fear and greed.
