Bring Your Own Identity (or BYOI, or BYOID) is an Identity and Access Management approach whereby digital identities are re-used across multiple distinct services and Identity Providers.
Digital Identities in BYOI may be issued by public sector organizations (as in Government eID), and/or by private sector organizations.
The benefits for the entities owning the digital identities are:
