Description | Gluu Gateway (GG) is a distribution of Kong Community Edition with plugins that enable central policy management with OAuth, OpenID Connect, User Managed Access (UMA), or Open Policy Agent (OPA). Although configurable via API, GG provides a configuration GUI to make it easier to view and manage policies. GG can act as either a back-channel API gateway, or as a front-channel Web proxy. Using OAuth scopes, administrators can specify that an access token with a certain boolean combination of scopes is required to perform a certain method of an endpoint. It also supports stepped-up authentication, and can perform header transformations that enable backwards compatibility with applications expecting user information from a legacy web access management platform. |
